Santa Fé programs were designed in a systematic way, where everything is interrelated and responds to the needs and complexities of children and adolescents, with processes that communicate in their entirety. All actions form a harmonious whole that aims at the development of a whole human being, and not only supplying a specific vulnerability.
SHELTERS
Minha Casa (My House)
Sheltering for 22 children and adolescents aged 0 to 18, who have lived in a situation of personal and social risk, with problems of familiar disharmony, victims of abuse or domestic violence.
Individualized therapeutic work to reframe the dramatic experiences, promoting their full development until they can emancipate themselves, return to their original family or be adopted.
Casa Vovó Ilza (Grandma Ilza´s House)
Sheltering for girls aged 12 to 18, pregnant or accompanied by their children. For the most part, they are homeless, victims of ill-treatment, sexual abuse, without family ties or with very tenuous links. Altogether (mothers and their sons and daughters), they are 22 children and adolescents.
The young mothers attend to an individualized therapeutic work for the experience of early motherhood in constructive and harmonious ways for mother and child, aiming to inhibit the recurrence of the ill-treatments experienced by them.
Lead to an autonomous and emancipated life.
Children's Families
Mudando a História (Changing the History) / Construindo Pontes (Building Bridges)
Support to families, aiming at the rescue of autonomy for children and adolescents to return to their families (nuclear or extended), in a sustainable and safe way. Reframing family relationships, especially combating the structural violence that permeates most families of children and adolescents in Santa Fe.
After Sheltering
Educação Continuada (Continuous Education)
Follow up of the children and adolescents, sheltered throughout the years of Santa Fé’s existence, which returned home, were adopted or emancipated.
Moradia Para Jovens Emancipados (Housing for Emancipated Young People)
Initial support and aid, in a descending manner, for the maintenance of housing for girls who completed 18 years of age and could not return to their families.
